"Mousie on a Ladder"
What a beautiful cat, with the double paws. But she was a holy terror. One day I put my wooden ladder up in my apartment to fix something - and there she was on the top - all legs hanging over.

"Auer Family Boathouse"
The Auer Family Boathouse is a much visited, much loved landmark on the shore of Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont - right where it's met by the Winooski River. My Mom, Christine Auer Hebert, and her brother, Charles Auer, Jr., still open up every spring even thought Mom is now 89 and her baby brother is 85!
