Student Paintings (leave comments for Ellen at the end of her gallery)
I am another student of Kathy's who always wanted to paint and felt too unsure of any ability to take a class. So taking her drawing class for people who don't know how to draw was a gift. Since then I've been painting with Kathy. I look forward to our classes filled with struggle, learning and laughter. I am thrilled to have produced work I am proud of and I will always be grateful to Kathy for adding this new dimension to my life.

- Chris S: Those shells are magnificent! As I was scrolling down and looking at all your paintings, there are so many beautiful ones! Your mom must be smiling!
- Susan F: Pretty shells, Ellen. Wonderful shading. You’ve got those values down!
- Bev B: Ellen, I admire your "eye" for composition and your talent. Beautiful shells! I am inspired!
- Quinci S: Ellen, you've beautifully captured those irregular lines and shapes of nature. Not easy to do!
- Sandie I: Ellen! You continue to make masterpieces and these two are no exception!
